Circus Center Expansion

The Circus Center expansion doubled the size of the existing land. The centerpiece of the expansion was the Showcase Pavilion, a huge, outdoor amphitheater featuring live entertainment and circus acts. Also included were new games, vendors, and one of the park's biggest thrill rides.

Circus Center was originally bordered on the right by the Center Ring Loop Coaster. A new path under the coaster tracks leads to the new expanded area.

The Showcase Pavilion waiting area features classic circus paintings.

More paintings and an ATM machine.

"Wherever shall we find a seat?"

And now, "On with the show."

Skeeball Alley is the new game center, built beneath the Showcase Pavilion's bleachers.

Can you win enough tickets for the grand prize?

Across from Skeeball Alley is the Face Painting stand.

Here, you can have your face painted like a circus animal.

Around the corner is the Big Top Hats shop.

"We'd like 2 big top hats, please."

On the far side of the pavilion is the Side Show Snack Spot.

Looming over the Showcase Pavilion is the Plunge, Circus Center's newest thrill ride. We'll visit that attraction in the next installment.
